Quick Thoughts:
Derrick Favors has settled in as an average-ish starting power forward in a conference loaded with good ones, while Gordon Hayward has seen a yearly decrease in scoring efficiency as his usage rate has gone up. Alec Burks and Enes Kanter, who will both be restricted free agents next summer, were unable to secure consistent starting roles last season, instead coming off the bench behind Richard Jefferson and Marvin Williams. And Trey Burke had a miserable rookie season, finishing next to last among all qualified players in True Shooting Percentage. This is the danger in building through the lottery: sometimes, the guys you draft just aren't that great.

Player to Watch: Jeremy Evans
After playing less than 900 career minutes beforehand, Evans was finally given a regular rotation spot in 2014. Although he didn't repeat his small-sample-size brilliance from his first three seasons, the former Dunk Contest Champ was still effective, shooting 53% from the field, rebounding at an above average rate, and blocking more shots per minute than three quarters of the league's starting power forwards. Now, with Trevor Booker coming over from Washington and the emergence of Rudy Gobert as the "Gobstopper", Evans may once again get squeezed out of the rotation, unless new coach Quin Snyder has plans to use him on the wing (doubtful, since he can't shoot).
