Quick Thoughts:
Last season, Stephen Curry finished fourth in the NBA in Win Shares, with 13.4, easily his best season as a pro. He's a rare combination of a high volume, high efficiency shooter with elite passing ability, and after playing 78 games each of the last two seasons, he also seems to have put any injury concerns behind him. Curry is one of the seven or eight best players in the league, and he's only entering his sixth season, suggesting he may get even better. In addition to their superstar, the Warriors also boast perhaps the best starting lineup in the league, something the numbers support, and at least two useful bench pieces. This seems like a recipe for a title contender, but Golden State probably won't finish higher than fifth in the loaded Western Conference, not without a second star.

Player to Watch: Andre Iguodala
The narrative going into last season was that Iguodala had found the perfect team. On the Warriors, he would not have to create offensively and could focus on his specialty: defending the opposing team's best wing player. How did this work out in reality? Well, Iggy had his lowest Usage Rate since 2005, his rookie season, while the Warriors Defensive Efficiency improved from thirteenth to third. He also shot threes at a higher rate, becoming more of a catch-and-shoot player, helping fuel a career-best Effective Field Goal Percentage. In Golden State, Iguodala has found his home.
