NBA Preview Series: Houston Rockets

NBA Preview Series: Introduction
With baseball coming to a close yesterday, I thought it was time we start thinking (and posting) about basketball again. Over the next 30 days, I plan to write up one team preview each day, with the final team preview being published on October 28th, the first day of the NBA regular season.
Each preview will have the team's projected rotation, my quick thoughts on their roster, and an interesting player to keep an eye on. Also, in honor of the terrific "Effectively Wild" baseball podcast, I will post a relevant data table, courtesy of the Basketball-Reference.com Play Index feature. My goal with each article is to try and give some unique insight on the team, without making it too generic.
Also, I have chosen a somewhat arbitrary, but not random, order to do the team previews.
