Quick Thoughts:
The Bucks are prepared to make a pretty quick turnaround after finishing with the worst record in the NBA last year. It won't happen this season, but the building blocks are in place to do so, starting with Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jabari Parker. But with forwards Ersan Ilyasova and John Henson also on the roster, finding minutes for everyone will be hard. One solution is to play Giannis at point guard, something Jason Kidd tried in summer league. While it's not his long term position, it may help develop his playmaking skills and allow Parker to play more minutes at small forward.

Player to Watch: Larry Sanders
Sanders broke out in 2013, helping the Bucks make the playoffs for only the second time in seven years. He saw a big jump in his Field Goal Percentage and rebounded at a top ten rate, all while leading the league in Block Percentage. Milwaukee rewarded him with a four year, $44 million contract extension, betting that they'd be getting him cheaper than if they waited a year and let him hit restricted free agency. It's a bet they'd lose, as Sanders had a forgettable year in 2014 while he battled injuries and suspensions. Now, he enters the first year of his new contract as a question mark. The good news is that he has a coach that believes in him: Jason Kidd reportedly wanted to trade Brook Lopez for Sanders and Ilyasova. If he stays healthy, Sanders could fast-track Milwaukee's rebuilding project and make them competitive sooner than expected.
